DPVR is a company known for creating VR headsets for tourist attractions, physical arcade games, and even corporate training (via their Group Training System). Yet, the DPVR 4D Pro V2 is great for watching and playing basic VR porn content - even if it wasn't created for that purpose.
Re-established as a consumer's VR headset for gaming on marketplaces like Amazon and eBay, the 4D Pro V2 should suit the needs of VR porn gamers. VR porn games don't need as much processing power as mainstream video games, meaning the 4D Pro V2 has the specs required to do the job.
Even so, we believe you'd be better served with a Meta Quest 3S, which is more affordable and can also process VR porn games. Moreover, the 4D Pro V2 has mixed reviews.

Decent choice for high-quality VR gaming despite falling second-best to Meta Quest 3S
The 4D Pro V2 is not as popular among consumers as the headsets from Meta or Valve because DPVR, the company behind them, is best known for manufacturing arcade-style attractions. Nevertheless, the DPVR 4D Pro V2 is versatile and advanced enough to fit in as a proper VR gaming device.

In addition to the 4D Pro V2, you can find hundreds of VR products on DPVR's official site.

The VR headset and controllers.
During testing, the thing we liked the most about the DPVR 4D Pro V2 was the processing power. This is a real standalone VR headset, powered by a Snapdragon XR1 chip, and therefore very easy to use and configure.
Regarding the rest, these are our conclusions:
The 1832 x 1920 resolution and inside-out tracking cameras ensure a standard viewing experience for VR videos, but can the Pro V2 run the best VR porn games?
This is where the Pro V2 Snapdragon XR1 chip comes in handy, as it reduces motion latency significantly. Alongside the refresh rate, this is one of the most important specs for avoiding motion sickness and other VR-related maladies.
Despite lacking in adjustability (you can change the head straps, and that's about it), the DPVR 4D Pro V2 wears comfortably, especially because it's one of the lightest VR headsets we have tried!
As consumers, we often assume that "lighter = worse quality," and the Pro V2 does feel a bit too light, quality-wise, for a product valued at approximately $500. However, as pointed out in a Reddit discussion :
"[DPVR headsets are] difficult to break, and if they do break they're relatively easy to fix and find replacement parts".
This highlights one of the main pros of the Pro V2: its availability as a second-hand market product. The 3DoF controllers are also very robust, as you'd expect from a company used to manufacturing arcade products.
A few other notions on the DPVR 4D Pro V2:
Compared to the best VR headsets — especially the Meta Quest 3S, which is a good $150 more affordable! — the DPVR 4D Pro V2 isn't worth it. Despite its impressive standalone power, the Pro V2 lacks the support and software ecosystem of a bonafide gaming device. We have also found some very negative reviews online (we don't agree with everything they say, but…).
So, when is the DPVR 4D Pro V2 a good choice? Well, if you're anti-Meta, it's actually a good alternative to the Quest 3S. The Pro V2 is also the perfect "hustler's headset", in the sense that it's very easy to get on second-hand markets, with individual pieces often available.
